What Personal Information Does TestFairy Collect?
TestFairy retains some personally identifiable information, including your email (which may be authenticated), your TestFairy password (which may be encrypted), your IP address, and other unique device identifiers and information relating to your use of the app, and your phone.
In addition to that, anything that may be collected by the app that you are testing, such as your geolocation, photos, calls or other details, may be retained as well. It is important to emphasise that this is not part of TestFairy’s basic functionality, but is part of the tested app itself and is in full control and responsibility of the developer who developed the app.
What Non-Personal Information Does TestFairy Retain?
TestFairy also retains some non-personally identifiable information, such as information relating to your use of the app, your touches, screenshots of your use of the app, list of other running applications, the duration of your calls, and other technical information such as your device type, screen resolution, operating system version, software installed on your device and other information you provide it.
How Does TestFairy Process Information?
TestFairy uses both personal and non-personal information to allow its users and developers to test and improve their apps, as well as to provide them with relevant information. TestFairy may also collect statistical, non-personally identifiable, anonymous information and disclose it to other selected partners. This information will never be related to a specific user or specific app.
Who Has Access To The Information?
TestFairy uses 3rd party services such as Amazon, Google, Zendesk and Intercom to manage its operation; TestFairy’s employees, who are under strict confidentiality obligations, also may have access to some of your information.
How Is Your Information Secured?
Can TestFairy Contact You?
TestFairy may contact you from time to time, by providing you with updates and notifications relevant to the service. Such contact may be made by email, or through push notification from the app itself.
What Can You Do If You Feel Your Privacy Was Violated?
If You feel your privacy was invaded, you can always contact TestFairy’s privacy officer, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, and file a complaint. TestFairy’s privacy officer will inspect the complaints within reasonable time and send you and answer promptly.
TestFairy’s privacy officer shall compile yearly reports, and publish them in TestFairy’s website.
Amending These Terms
The Following Terms apply to your use of the TestFairy Software
Apart where specifically licensed, you are prohibited from using, distributing, publishing, making derivative works, changing, reverse engineering, decompiling or otherwise manipulating the Software. TestFairy hereby licenses you a limited, non-exclusive, non-assignable, non-transferable, revocable, temporary, personal license to use the software on your device.
For no case and for no reason shall TestFairy be held liable for any damage, direct or indirect, consequential, exemplary, physical or special, to you, any other user or any 3rd party due to its misperformance of duties herein.
TestFairy provides its software and services on an AS-IS basis and shall not be held liable, to the extent permitted by law, by any case of misconduct, negligence, gross negligence, malice or any other mean, to any damages or loss of property, virtual property, reputation and business reputation, user account information including login information, loss of profit, loss of good name, all resulting from the use or inability to use TestFairy services.
Any dispute under these terms shall be exclusively resolved under the Israeli Law, and in the courts of the Tel-Aviv District in Israel.
